Drudge, Infowars, and Prison Planet have forced the corporate media to cover the naked body scanner issue, much to the consternation of the government and contractors such as the Chertoff Group.

More and more people now realize naked body scanners are not about protection from terrorists, as the government claims, but is in fact a technology designed for control and data collection. If the government is going to be successful implementing its control grid, it will have to introduce technology that can be touted as physically non-threatening. The largest independent union of airline pilots in the world earlier this week urged its members to boycott body imaging machines, citing dangers of excessive exposure to harmful levels of radiation during the screening process.

A Massachusetts company, Iscon Video Imaging, has stepped into the fray and is offering body scanning technology minus harmful radiation.

“The Iscon 1000D is the only whole body imaging portal that can be integrated with state of the art technologies to detect virtually any object, without radiation or privacy issues and confirm that the person is indeed who they claim to be,” a press release issued on October 29 states.

The “enhanced” version of Iscon’s 1000D whole body scanner is equipped with optional biometric technologies and identity verification techniques, according to the company. The machine “uses thermo-conductive infrared technology that completes a 360°scan in 30 seconds, reveals a multitude of objects, but doesn’t penetrate clothing, so there’s no privacy or radiation issues,” explains Iscon.

“Facilities are facing significant privacy and health issues using scanners that expose a persons body parts that can be stored and shared digitally,” Iscon founder and president Izrail Gorian explains in the press release. “Using existing databases available today, or using a proprietary system of employees or inmates, security will ultimately be enhanced for everyone and at the same time ease verification for those who are not suspect.”

Iscon says the new system utilizes facial recognition, fingerprint, and iris recognition technology. It is capable of comparing a person’s facial attributes to existing databases and cross matching with other systems, can access large law enforcement databases, and is also capable of scanning a person’s iris and cross-matching the collected information with databases.

Earlier this year, Iscon introduced the line of sophisticated thermo-conductive scanners for use in U.S. prisons. “In addition to being highly effective for prisoner and courtroom scanning, the system doesn’t emit any radiation and doesn’t penetrate clothing so there are no privacy issues. The Iscon system can also be used in commercial security areas, airports and other security sensitive areas,” Gorian explained in a Marketwire press release posted on the CorrectionsOne.com website. The company also offers a portable device.

Iscon is offering a technology that addresses many of the government’s biometric collection needs and is peddling it as an alternative to the demonstrably dangerous backscatter radiation system now going in airports, an effort successful in large part due to the effort of Michael Chertoff, the former Department of Homeland Security boss. Rapiscan, the company that manufactures the machines, is a Chertoff Group client.

Gorian and Iscon claim the new technology is non-invasive and protects privacy. In 2008, Rapiscan made a similar claim when it said its Rapiscan Secure 1000 technology protects the “privacy of the person being screened while enabling effective detection of threat items.”

In August of this year it was revealed that law enforcement in fact saves images produced by the machines. “Now it turns out that some police agencies are storing the controversial images after all. The U.S. Marshals Service admitted this week that it had surreptitiously saved tens of thousands of images recorded with a millimeter wave system at the security checkpoint of a single Florida courthouse,” Declan McCullagh wrote for CNet News at the time.

The Iscon system represents a one-stop biometric data collection technology that may soon be used in airports – and courthouses (as noted above) and eventually at the local mall and sports arena, depending on the severity of the next false flag terror attack.

The government has a keen interest in collecting and compiling biometric data on citizens. The FBI announced a $1 billion effort to build the world’s largest computer database of peoples’ physical characteristics, a project that would give the government unprecedented abilities to identify individuals in the United States and abroad, the Washington Post reported in December of 2007.

The Department of Homeland Security has collected biometrics for years, including the use of iris scans at certain airports under the guise of identity verification of travelers who have passed background checks and want to move through lines quickly. “The department is also looking to apply iris- and face-recognition techniques to other programs,” the Post added.

Alex Jones has warned about this ongoing effort since the late 1990s (see the video below). The global elite are determined to eventually track and trace every human on the planet. It cannot possibly hope to accomplish this ambitious task unless humanity willingly accepts the act of docilely surrendering personal information – from iris scans to images of their naked children – under the guise of a contrived war against false flag terrorism engineered by the government.

TSA Now Putting Hands Down Fliers’ Pants

Big Sis turns up the heat: New super-enhanced pat-down more invasive

The TSA’s invasive new screening measures include officers
literally putting their hands down people’s pants if they are
wearing baggy clothing in a shocking new elevation of groping
procedures that have stoked a nationwide revolt against privac
y-busting airport security measures.

Forget John Tyner’s “don’t touch my junk” experience at the hands
of TSA goons in San Diego recently, another victim of Big Sis was
told by TSA officials that it was now policy to go even further when
dealing with people wearing loose pants or shorts.

Going through airport security this past weekend, radio host Owen
JJ Stone, known as “OhDoctah,” related how he was told that the
rules had been changed and was offered a private screening.
When he asked what the procedure entailed, the TSA agent responded, “I have to go in your waistband, I have to put my hand down your pants,” after which he did precisely that.

Stone chose to conduct the search in public in the fear that the TSA worker would be even more aggressive in a private room.

“If you’re wearing sweat pants or baggy clothing, I was wearing sweat pants they’re not baggy, they’re sweat pants,” said Stone, adding that the agent pulled out his waistband before patting his backside and his crotch.

A 54-year-old Missouri City man experienced similar treatment when he was going through security at Fort Lauderdale Airport.

Thomas Mollman was subject to a groping by a TSA officer that was tantamount to sexual molestation.

“I was wearing shorts at the time – between the underwear, right on the skin, all the way around the back, all the way around my front, 360 degrees, touched inappropriately,” he said.

“This was an assault. This was no different than a sexual assault,” said KTRK Legal Analyst Joel Androphy.

The level of abuse appears to be getting worse on an almost daily basis. First TSA agents use the back of their hands, then they outright grope you with the front, and now they are being trained to put their hands down traveler’s pants. What’s next? Mandatory bodily probes?

Even as the resistance to airport oppression grows, Big Sis and the TSA are responding by making the pat down procedures more invasive. Napolitano has figuratively said to the American people ‘let them eat cake’ as she slaps them in the face.

Given the fact that the TSA’s own woeful background checks for their own employees allows rapists and pedophiles to get jobs as pat down agents, will you allow TSA workers to put their hands down the pants of your daughter or wife?

UPDATE: Owen JJ Stone appeared on The Alex Jones Show today to discuss the incident and how the TSA goon ‘touched his junk’ by specifically patting his backside and testicles while his hand was inside Stone’s pants – video of the interview coming soon.

Paul Joseph Watson is the editor and writer for Prison Planet.com. He is the author of Order Out Of Chaos. Watson is also a fill-in host for The Alex Jones Show. Watson has been interviewed by many publications and radio shows, including Vanity Fair and Coast to Coast AM, America’s most listened to late night talk show.  hands down the man’s pants was embarrassed at what he had been told to do by his superiors, apologizing profusely to the victim.

American Idle - Revolt of the Pleebs

Live every day as if it were your last…
and then some day you’ll be right.– H.H. “Breaker” Morant

History is not likely to speak well of today’s Americans.  While the
people of nations around the globe stand up to their oppressors,
Americans sit idly by as their government runs roughshod over their
life, liberty and property.

apathy1.jpg

When will the American people recognize the full frontal assault being
perpetrated against them?

As we speak, large-scale protests and mass demonstrations continue in more than a dozen countries as citizens strike back against injustice, criminality and brutal austerity measures imposed by their corrupt governments.

In the UK, more than 50,000 students recently took to the streets to protest a spike in tuition costs.

In Greece, workers clashed with police outside the Finance Ministry over frozen pensions and cuts in their salaries.

In Germany, tens of thousands demonstrated over the weekend to protest government policies and social inequities in advance of Merkel’s Democrat party’s national meeting.

In early October, thousands of Icelanders stormed their parliament with renewed anger over the deepening financial crisis, and against those responsible for it.  Many of their politicians were forced to flee out the back door, where they were pelted with eggs, flour and tomatoes.

In France, transportation and commerce was brought to a virtual standstill throughout vast portions of the country, as angry citizens railed against their government for increasing the retirement age from 60 to 62.

Press coverage of these events gets little attention here in the United States.  When the press does cover it, they portray the demonstrators as greedy layabouts who have become dependant on government handouts.  In reality, people of these countries know full well that they are being made to do without in order to enrich powerful central banks that conspired with  corrupt politicians to loot their economies.  The people have had enough, and they’re letting their governments know it.

If only we had the same spirit.  When will the American people recognize the full frontal assault being perpetrated against them?  When will they realize that, they too, are being made to do with less, so that their corrupt politicians can fulfill the unlawful arrangements they have made with the very same central banks and financial institutions that are bringing down nations around the globe?

Right now, millions of Americans have lost (or are losing) their homes to foreclosure as a result of the same kind of collusion between politicians and the banking cartels.

In 2008, the banking elite threatened to shut down the U.S. economy unless corrupt politicians in Washington D.C. forced through the Troubled Assets Relief Program (TARP).  Though more than 90% of the American public voiced opposition to the bill, their words fell on deaf ears.  To add insult to injury, the passage of TARP was actually celebrated by members of congress, who stood at the podium with broad smiles and giggled as they signed the hellish legislation.

Billions of taxpayer dollars went to the bankers to rescue them from foolish investments in mortgage-backed securities. The TARP funds were supposed to be used to clear the bank’s books and free up lending to the American people.  But that didn’t happen.  Instead, the bankers tightened lending even more and used their newfound wealth to pay debts, acquire other banks, pay huge bonuses to their employees, and engage in more irresponsible investment activities.

To their credit, the American people found the gumption to confront those politicians in town hall meetings across the nation.  But the media—being the obedient lapdogs to the federal government that they are—quickly pounced upon these unhappy citizens; labeling them as dangerous upstarts who were working outside the parameters of civil and polite discourse that the government deems manageable.  Raising your voice was equated with violence, hoisting signs was considered racist and gatherings were announced as potential staging grounds for domestic terrorism.

How absurd—that the mainstream media would think it could even be possible to kowtow the American people into compliance—especially when you measure these relatively mild examples of public opposition against the large-scale strikes and civil unrest we are witnessing in other countries.

But—ironically—many Americans did take the bait that the mainstream media was dishing out and decided to temper their speech after all.  This was facilitated by Judas goats like Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin, who corralled the people like livestock into GOP controlled rallies that advanced the Republican agenda and insured them an easy victory in the mid-term elections.

Glenn Beck’s “Rally to Restore Honor” summoned thousands of disgruntled Americans to the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.  Days before, he pleaded with his audience to abandon their signs and silly clothes because it was making them easy targets of ridicule by the “progressive” left.  The people complied—and when they attended the function—they were treated to a ceremony of military worship and religious devotion to the state of Israel.  It was a Hollywood production.  It was organized, polite, and nobody raised their voice.  People soon forgot about the imminent financial threats that were bearing down upon them.  Instead, they embraced what every American should feel good about:  a bloated defense budget and a toxic relationship with a country that has caused us nothing but trouble.

Shortly after the Beck event, the left staged a demonstration of their own.  Jon Stewart’s “Rally to Restore Sanity” was a mockery of demonstrations, an anti-demonstration if you will.

The people who attended that function did so—not to address the criminality of their government—but to mock those who did.  They came out enmass to parody the “Teabaggers,” fellow citizens enraged over Obama’s spending policies and mandatory healthcare legislation.

Both events were completely partisan efforts, used to define the line between Democrat and Republican voters.  Both events were used to quell dissent and stifle speech.  Both were a success—but not for the American people.  It was a success for the government, and a major testament on the power the mainstream media has over the American public.

Americans—in large part—have become nothing more than stupid, scared, spoiled rotten slaves to their favorite TV programs, politicians and electronic toys.  Accusing them of such is just about the only thing that will make them angry.  Americans still maintain that they are the freest, wealthiest and most moral people on the face of the planet.  But they are the only ones who think so.  In a Newsweek article entitled “Post Anti-Americanism,” Howard Fineman writes:

“When you read about America in European newspapers, what you are likely to find is a tone bordering on pity. The U.S. is depicted as a fraying empire of obesity, ignorance, debt, gridlock, stagnation, and mindless war. Sure, the iPad is cool, but it is evidence of what America was, not what it will be again. The stories are not angry, accusatory, or even ideological. It’s worse: they are condescendingly elegiac.”

I think most will agree that being pitied is far worse than being hated.  Pity is leveled against those who are unwilling, or unable, to stand up for themselves.  People of other nations pity us because they see in us what we are unable to see in ourselves:  that we are weak.

But we weren’t always like this.  In fact, just twenty years ago, we were far more resilient than we are today.

We’re closing in on the 20th anniversary of the Rodney King beatings in Los Angeles.  Almost twenty years ago, the American public was shocked and appauled as they watched one of the first incidents of police brutality—to ever be caught on tape—broadcast on television screens across the nation.

The ensuing trial was held in a predominantly white, suburban city (Simi Valley) that is a well known “Cop Land,” where off duty police officers from three counties reside in great numbers.  The biased trial found the officers “not-guilty” on all counts.

Public outrage at the verdicts sparked the “L.A Riots” of 1992 that found thousands of people taking to the streets.  Businesses were looted, cars were torched, and widespread violence spread through the city over a period of six hellish days.

Some may say that the manner in which the public used to express their discontent was unconstructive—but they certainly made their point.  The United States Department of Justice was forced to bring federal charges against the four officers for civil rights violations.  Two of the four officers were aquitted, but two were convicted and handed out 30 month prison sentences.

If the Rodney King beatings were caught on tape today, it would not even make the evenning news.  The circumstances leading up to the arrest of King would most certainly be enough to close the books on any further inquiry, and any ensuing protests would be met with even more brutality from the police.

The King case pales in comparison to some of the more recent incidents of aledged police brutality.

Take the case of Jordan Miles for instance.  Miles, an 18 year old black student, with no criminal record, was simply walking down a street in Pittsburg when he was approached by three plainclothes police officers.  According to Miles, the officers did not identify themselves.  Instead, they shouted, “Where’s the money…Where’s the gun?…Where’s the drugs?” Thinking he was about to be robbed, Miles ran and slipped on the ice.  Before he could get to his feet, the officers converged and began beating, kicking and choking him.  They also used a taser, thinking that he was concealing a weapon.  No weapon was found.  Miles sustained severe facial injuries.  His face was swollen, almost to the point of being unrecognizable, and he continues to suffer from the severe physical and psychological pain caused by the assault.  Eight months have since passed, and still, not one of the officers has been held accountable.

Compare that to the King case.  King, a convicted felon, led police on a high speed chase.  When he was finally stopped, he emerged from the vehicle and taunted the police officers.  The officers ‘swarmed’ him and proceeded to beat him repeatedly with batons.  At one point, when it was apparent that King was still making attempts to resist, a taser was used twice in an attempt to incapacitate him.  It was later determined that King had a blood alcohol level that was almost twice the legal limit.

In reaction to the Miles brutality case, a few peacful protests and marches were held in the local community but received very little press.  In reaction to the King case, part of an entire city burned to the ground and coverage of the riots and subsequent trials were nationwide spectacles.

American attitudes have changed.  Today, the public cowers in fear of their oppressors.  What’s worse is that a vast majority will stick out their tounges, as they lie bloodied on the street, and lick the boot of the man who put them there.

Late last September, Gene Cranick of Obion County, Tennessee watched his home burn to the ground as firefighters from neighboring South Fulton stood by without lifting a finger to help put out the blaze.

There seemed to have been a problem with a $75 annual fee that Cranick apparently forgot to pay for fire services extended to residents who live outside the city limits.

In addition to his house and all of his belongings going up in smoke, three family dogs and a cat shared the same fate.

But instead of expressing outrage, the browbeaten property owners actually came to the defense of the apathetic public servants.

Cranick’s wife, Paulette, doesn’t blame the firefighters. “They’re doing what they are told to do. It’s not their fault.”

How have we come to adopt these kinds of attitudes?  Where is the public outrage?  Is there any limit to what the American people will put up with?

Part of the problem stems from our society turning from one that loves liberty to one that loves the gifts that liberty brings.

For well over one hundred years, social engineers have indoctrinated Americans into believing that indulgence is synonymous with freedom.  But nothing can be further from the truth.  Freedom delivers one from dependency, while indulgence delivers one into it.

John Adams, an American statesman and champion of independence, feared that the American people would some day enjoy their newfound freedoms, but neglect the daily struggle required to protect them.  Adams was well aware of the dangers of complacency, and warned that a society that chose indulgence over vigilance would quickly fall into the hands of tyrants, who would deliver a once free people back into the chains of bondage.

When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers, and destroyers press upon them so fast, that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon the American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour.

Adams went on to describe what would happen to that society once these destructive influences took hold.

The people grow less steady, spirited, and virtuous, the seekers more numerous and more corrupt, and every day increases the circles of their dependents and expectants, until virtue, integrity, public spirit, simplicity, and frugality, become the objects of ridicule and scorn, and vanity, luxury, foppery, selfishness, meanness, and downright venality swallow up the whole society.

This is where we are today.  We have become a self-defeating society, drunk off the spoils left to us by our forefathers.  We have fallen prey to an elitist cartel of bankers and warmongers who have, and continue to, loot the population of its wealth and treasure.

But it isn’t too late to turn things around.

Right now, the American people have an opportunity to get back that old fighting spirit.  On November 24, many Americans traveling abroad can stand defiant against their tyrannical government.

“National Opt-Out Day” is something that everybody can get behind, regardless of their partisan politics.  Finally, across the board, we have found an issue that all can agree upon.  We are not terrorists, and we refuse to allow our government to treat us as such.  Let us make the TSA a poster child for tyranny and the over reaching of our corrupt government.

Fresh food that lasts from eFoods Direct (Ad)

If you travel this holiday, refuse to allow yourself to be degraded and poisoned by the cancer inducing pornography scanners that have been installed in our nation’s airports.  You won’t be alone.  Perhaps that man or woman standing there next to you is someone you don’t see eye to eye with concerning the health care bill.  But at least you can agree that having your body ravaged by strangers is something that no one should be forced to endure.  At least that’s a start.

It might be uncomfortable and inconvenient, but fighting for your liberty and freedom always has been—and it’s about time we started getting used to that.

Long-time prober of the JFK assassination, Jesse Ventura will have his first chance
to prove on television that a conspiracy, not a lone gunman, killed Kennedy. The proof
includes a shocking audio confession and much more; airs this Fri, Nov. 19 at 10 PM EST
/ 9 PM CST

In the next episode of the hard-hitting second season of Conspiracy Theory, former Governor Jesse Ventura will take on what he has long regarded as the most significant event of his generation and the 60s era– the assassination of John Fitzgerald Kennedy. The program will air this Friday, Nov. 19 at 10 PM EST / 9 PM CST, just days before the 47th anniversary of the iconic president’s death. But TruTV will air more than just memories and heated debate about the grassy knoll. For the first time ever on television, viewers will witness, at last, a confession in one of the most-controversial murders in all of history.

A “major figure” from recent U.S. history admits to involvement in the plot in an audio tape that will blow audiences away. The source names names, and Lee Harvey Oswald isn’t on the list. According to the show’s producers, Ventura’s team has even established new evidence that suggests the individuals allegedly involved in the assassination have powerful ties that even go as high as former President and former CIA director George H. W. Bush. Is this the key at last to why the media has been so reluctant to admit that someone else was shooting at Dealey Plaza on November 22, 1963?

Ventura qualified as an expert shot while in naval special forces training, and qualified again as an expert during his term as Governor in Minnesota, yet he could not duplicate the time and accuracy of Oswald’s fateful shots.

In the course of the episode, Jesse Ventura, a former Navy SEAL and Underwater Demolitions expert, attempts to recreate Oswald’s alleged shooting that day. He tracked down the exact make and model, as well as ammunition stock that the Warren Commission claims Oswald used. But despite the fact that Ventura qualified as an expert shot while in naval special forces training, and qualified again as an expert during his term as Governor in Minnesota, he could not duplicate the time and accuracy of Oswald’s fateful shots. Yet Lee Harvey Oswald only qualified as a “marksman,” two grades lower than Ventura. (Witnesses who shot with Oswald have said for years that he had “Maggie’s drawers”—that he frequently missed the target and generally did not meet the high standards of a serviceman.)

The House Select Committee on Assassinations matched Ventura’s findings back in 1978. Their investigation found a 95% or higher probability that John F. Kennedy was killed by more than one assassin, concluding that indeed a conspiracy took place, and debunking the rushed conclusions of the 1964 Warren Commission that Oswald acted alone. However, nearly half a century later, the media has continued to promote the lone gunman theory, even in spite of a skeptical public. The motives behind this mass-misconception are deep and probing indeed, and Ventura has been questioning the official account for many years now.

Images released by TruTV show that Ventura acts out the official account of Oswald’s shooting; then talks to a number of experts at Dealey Plaza, the site of the JFK assassination, including Jim Marrs, prominent researcher and frequent guest on the Alex Jones Show.

Two of Ventura’s best-selling books, American Conspiracies and Don’t Start the Revolution Without Me, have both delved deeply into what really happened in the assassination. Ventura’s writing partner Dick Russell has also written extensively on the subject in his book On the Trail of the JFK Assassins. Tune in Fri, Nov. 19 to find out what Ventura and his Conspiracy Theory team have now uncovered.

Ron Paul: Crotch Groped by TSA, Calls for Boycott of Airlines

Kurt Nimmo

November 23, 2010

Appearing on the Alex Jones Show today, Texas Congressman Ron Paul expressed his
outrage and disgust with the TSA and its unconstitutional naked body scanners and
genital groping under the transparent pretense of protecting the American people
from terrorists in distant caves.

“If we tolerate this,” Paul said, “there’s something wrong with us.” He added that the
American people deserve to be humiliated and demeaned by the government if they
refuse to stand up and resist.

Paul predicted Americans will eventually boycott the airlines to put an end to the intrusive
searches and the unconscionable use of dangerous backscatter radiation naked body
scanners. “Maybe the Congress will get off their duffs and do something in January,” he
said, “and insist we reign in the TSA.”

Responding to Alex Jones’ assertion that the TSA’s actions are akin to what the Nazis did in Germany during the 1930s, Ron Paul said that we long ago capitulated on “showing our papers” and now routinely provide Social Security numbers to employers and show our government issued driver’s license as an accepted form of identification. “Now the government wants us to show them our genitalia and they want to take pictures of us and put their hands into our pants,” he said.

Paul said due to pervasive coverage of TSA abuses by the corporate media, the American people are now beginning to ask serious questions about government conduct.

“I think it’s a healthy wake-up call to a lot of Americans,” Paul told Jones. “I just hope they can work that in to the whole concept of what’s been going on with our country for a long time – the government is too big and intrusive and abuses our rights and they do the things the shouldn’t be doing and they forget about the things they were instructed to do.”

Congressman Paul said in the course of his work representing the people of Texas he has to endure TSA abuse, including the latest “enhanced pat down” that verges on sexual molestation. “I have to go through that all the time because I have metal in my knees,” he explained. “I get prodded all the time and it is disgusting and I tell them so.” Paul admitted that the TSA has groped his crotch.

He said he believes a boycott of the airlines will be necessary if we are going to force the government to back down and stop acting like a sexual predator. “I am going to be doing everything conceivable to try to change these rules because they are not making us safer, they aren’t better for us – it’s just to enhance the power of the state.”
Breaking: South Korea Threatens Retaliation Against North Korea

Infowars.com
November 23, 2010

South Korean president Lee Myung-bak has ordered his military to strike North Korea if it shows any signs of provocation after the North apparently attacked the South Yeonpyeong Island earlier today. Two South Korean marines died, and at least 12 were wounded. There were reports of civilian injuries and houses were set ablaze as scores of shells fell.

A North Korea expert at Beijing’s Central Party School, Zhang Liangui, told the Sydney Morning Herald that Kim Jong-un was deliberately destabilising the environment in order to mobilise the military and consolidate his power.

Infowars.com will cover this story in-depth as it unfolds.

Korean War Crisis: Brought To You By Uncle Sam

Despite the fact that South Korea admits it fired the first shots that prompted the North to retaliate, the vast majority of the establishment press are feverishly blaming North Korea for a new escalation in the crisis, while failing completely to acknowledge the fact that the whole fiasco was generated as a direct result of Uncle Sam’s policy through two separate administrations to ensure hereditary dictator Kim Jong-Il and his successors acquired the atom bomb.

As we have exhaustively documented, North Korea’s nuclear belligerency was almost exclusively a creation of the U.S. government in that they armed the Stalinist state both directly and indirectly through global arms dealers under their control, namely Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan. While labeling North Korea as part of the “axis of evil,” the U.S. government was enthusiastically funding its nuclear weapons program at every stage.

Both the Clinton and Bush administrations played a key role in helping Kim Jong-Il develop North Korea’s nuclear prowess from the mid 1990’s onwards.

Just as with Saddam Hussein’s chemical and biological weapons program, it was Donald Rumsfeld who played a key role in arming Kim-Jong-Il.

Rumsfeld was man who presided over a $200 million dollar contract to deliver equipment and services to build two light water reactor stations in North Korea in January 2000 when he was an executive director of ABB (Asea Brown Boveri). Wolfram Eberhardt, a spokesman for ABB confirmed that Rumsfeld was at nearly all the board meetings during his involvement with the company.

Rumsfeld was merely picking up the baton from the Clinton administration, who in 1994 agreed to replace North Korea’s domestically built nuclear reactors with light water nuclear reactors. So-called government-funded ‘experts’ claimed that light water reactors couldn’t be used to make bombs. Not so according to Henry Sokolski, head of the Non-proliferation Policy Education Center in Washington, who stated, “LWRs could be used to produce dozens of bombs’ worth of weapons-grade plutonium in both North Korea and Iran. This is true of all LWRs — a depressing fact U.S. policymakers have managed to block out.”

“These reactors are like all reactors, they have the potential to make weapons. So you might end up supplying the worst nuclear violator with the means to acquire the very weapons we’re trying to prevent it acquiring,” said Sokolski.

The U.S. State Department claimed that the light water reactors could not be used to produce bomb grade material and yet in 2002 urged Russia to end its nuclear co-operation with Iran for the reason that it didn’t want Iran armed with weapons of mass destruction. At the time, Russia was building light water reactors in Iran.  According to the State Department, light water reactors in Iran can produce nuclear material but somehow the same rule doesn’t apply in North Korea.

In April 2002, the Bush administration announced that it would release $95 million of American taxpayer’s dollars to begin construction of the ‘harmless’ light water reactors in North Korea. Bush argued that arming the megalomaniac dictator Kim Jong-Il with the potential to produce a hundred nukes a year was, “vital to the national security interests of the United States.” Bush released even more money in January 2003, as was reported by Bloomberg News.

Bush released the funds despite the startling revelation, reported by South Korean newspapers, that a North Korean missile warhead had been found in Alaska.

Construction of the reactors was eventually suspended, but North Korea had an alternative source through which they could obtain the nuclear secrets vital to building an atom bomb arsenal – CIA asset and international arms smuggler AQ Khan.

In 2004, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, the father of Pakistan’s atom bomb program, admitted sharing nuclear technology via a worldwide smuggling network that included facilities in Malaysia that manufactured key parts for centrifuges.

Khan’s collaborator B.S.A. Tahir ran a front company out of Dubai that shipped centrifuge components to North Korea.

Despite Dutch authorities being deeply suspicious of Khan’s activities as far back as 1975, the CIA prevented them from arresting him on two occasions.

“The man was followed for almost ten years and obviously he was a serious problem. But again I was told that the secret services could handle it more effectively,” former Dutch Prime Minister Ruud Lubbers said. “The Hague did not have the final say in the matter. Washington did.”

Lubbers stated that Khan was allowed to slip in and out of the Netherlands with the blessing of the CIA, eventually allowing him to become the “primary salesman of an extensive international network for the proliferation of nuclear technology and know-how,” according to George W. Bush himself, and sell nuclear secrets that allowed North Korea to build nuclear bombs.

“Lubbers suspects that Washington allowed Khan’s activities because Pakistan was a key ally in the fight against the Soviets,” reports CFP. “At the time, the US government funded and armed mujahideen such as Osama bin Laden. They were trained by Pakistani intelligence to fight Soviet troops in Afghanistan. Anwar Iqbal, Washington correspondent for the Pakistani newspaper Dawn, told ISN Security Watch that Lubbers’ assertions may be correct. “This was part of a long-term foolish strategy. The US knew Pakistan was developing nuclear weapons but couldn’t care less because it was not going to be used against them. It was a deterrent against India and possibly the Soviets.”

In September 2005 it emerged that the Amsterdam court which sentenced Khan to four years imprisonment in 1983 had lost the legal files pertaining to the case. The court’s vice-president, Judge Anita Leeser, accused the CIA of stealing the files. “Something is not right, we just don’t lose things like that,” she told Dutch news show NOVA. “I find it bewildering that people lose files with a political goal, especially if it is on request of the CIA. It is unheard of.”

In 2005, Pakistani President Pervez Musharaf acknowledged that Khan had provided centrifuges and their designs to North Korea.

Through their policies in aiding North Korea to build light water reactors, and via the CIA asset AQ Khan who was protected at every step of the way while he helped provide North Korea with the means to build a nuclear arsenal, the U.S. government itself is directly complicit in providing North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Il with the nuclear weapons he now threatens to use against U.S. ally South Korea.

North Korea is controlled by a hereditary Stalinist dictatorship that has starved two million of its citizens to death in favor of building a million-man army. Some people put the figure at four million, one-quarter of the population. In the far north of the country there is a network of forced labor gulags where people who have ‘expressed a bland political opinion’ are, along with their entire families, tortured, raped and executed. Horrific bio-chemical experiments are performed on mass numbers of people. Babies are delivered and then stamped to death by the camp guards. If the mother screams while the guards are stamping on the baby’s neck, she is immediately assassinated by a firing squad. These guards are rewarded with bonuses and promotions for ripping out prisoners’ eyeballs.

The North Korean people are enslaved by a government that is using food as a weapon. Perhaps this is why the EU and the United States, via the UN World Food Program, resumed the shipment of hundreds of thousands of tons in food aid at the end of February 2003. This goes directly to the sitting dictatorship, which then decides who gets it by their level of allegiance to the state. Food aid only increases the power of Kim Jong-Il and yet it is veiled by the UN in bleeding heart humanitarian rhetoric. The money goes straight to enabling the North Korean leadership to live in the lap of westernized luxury with casinos and lavish new cars.

President Bush publicly claimed to loathe Kim Jong-Il and yet his administration, like Bill Clinton before him, set the policy to help North Korea obtain nuclear expertise. The U.S. intelligence network also protected AQ Khan and allowed him to provide the means with which North Korea acquired their nuclear capability.

If the tensions between the Koreas were to escalate into all out war, don’t expect the castrated American corporate media to mention how Kim Jong-Il and his successors grew to be such a threat in the first place – with the aid of nuclear weapons enthusiastically supplied by the U.S. government and its surrogates.

11 Reasons Why North Korea Is The Most Bizarre Nation On Earth

The Economic Collapse
November 24, 2010

Is the United States about to go to war with the most bizarre nation on earth?
A lot of Americans would actually welcome “the Korean War Part 2″, but before
people get too excited it is important to keep in mind that we have never been
at war with a nation that actually possesses nuclear weapons.  At this point it is
unclear exactly how powerful North Korea’s nuclear weapons are, but nearly
everyone does agree that they are crazy enough to use them.  North Korea
reportedly has thousands of missile batteries that are capable to hitting the 10
million people that live in Seoul.  The death and devastation that an all-out
strike on Seoul could potentially cause is almost unimaginable.  In fact, the 24.5
million people living either in or around Seoul make it the second largest
metropolitan area in the world.  The next conflict on the Korean peninsula will
be extremely bloody.  Nobody should be wishing for that.

Unfortunately, the next Korean war seems closer than ever.  Tensions on the
peninsula are at a record high.  Today, North Korea has one of the largest
armies in the world.  Some reports claim that they have over 1 million soldiers
on active duty.  But South Korea is highly militarized as well, and there are
28,000 U.S. troops stationed in South Korea that the North Koreans would have
to contend with.

Right now the rest of the world is getting quite nervous, because a war between
nuclear powers could get out of hand very quickly.  If North Korea hits South
Korea with nuclear weapons, it seems almost certain that the U.S. would hit North
Korea with nukes.  The death and destruction that would result would be
unprecedented.

So what does China think about all of this?  Well, North Korea would not be acting so belligerent right now if they did not have permission from China.  Perhaps China is trying to send a message to the West.

On the other hand, there are others that believe that it could go a lot deeper than that.  The regime in North Korea is on the verge of collapsing in on itself.  Even the Chinese are getting tired of propping up their government and dealing with their nonsense.  The truth is that a new Korean war could benefit the Chinese in several ways.

First of all, South Korea (the biggest U.S. ally in the region) would be absolutely devastated even if they “won” the war.  That would cripple an incredibly important geopolitical chess piece.

Secondly, the U.S. would be embroiled in yet another costly conflict and would undoubtedly suffer some costly losses as well.  The opinion of the rest of the world toward the United States would darken even more – especially if nuclear weapons were used.

Thirdly, China could gain a ton of “leverage” by stabbing North Korea in the back after the conflict had started.  In return for supporting the U.S./South Korean coalition, China could ask for all kinds of things that they wouldn’t even dream of getting right now.  In fact, it is not unthinkable to imagine China walking away with a significant chunk of North Korea in the aftermath of the war.  The Chinese government is regularly involved in “border disputes” (just Google it), and China would never pass up a chance to pick up a big slice of new territory.

In the end, the “winner” of any new war on the Korean peninsula would probably be China.  The U.S. would get rid of the “North Korean problem”, but it would come at a great cost.  It is hard to imagine any scenario that would end up greatly benefiting the United States.

Let us hope that a new all-out Korean war does not erupt.  North Korea is ruled by delusional leaders who are insane enough to actually use nuclear weapons.  If you doubt this, just consider the following 11 facts….

#1 The first “Great Leader” of North Korea, Kim Il-Sung, is deeply revered in North Korea.  In fact, there are over 500 statues of Kim Il-sung scattered throughout the country.  Many Koreans apparently believe that Kim Il-Sung actually created the world.

#2 It is said that hanging up pictures of Kim Il-Sung is compulsory for every household in North Korea.

#3 Millions of North Korean citizens have literally starved to death over the past 10 years.

#4 The North Korean constitution actually guarantees freedom of speech and freedom of the press.

#5 It has been reported that during times of extreme hunger in North Korea, cannibalism is quite common.  Several years ago the Washington Post shared what one 29-year-old female defector told them about what is going on inside the country….

“When one is very hungry, one can go crazy. One woman in my town killed her 7-month-old baby, and ate the baby with another woman.”

The sad thing is that the 29-year-old female defector didn’t even consider what she had seen to be wrong….

“I can’t condemn cannibalism. Not that I wanted to eat human meat, but we were so hungry. It was common that people went to a fresh grave and dug up a body to eat meat. I witnessed a woman being questioned for cannibalism. She said it tasted good.”

#6 In 1987, North Korea began construction on the Ryugyong Hotel, which would have been the tallest hotel in the world if it had been finished on schedule in 1989.  Instead, construction of the bizarre 105-story skyscraper that somewhat resembles a pyramid was suspended in 1992, and the unfinished structure was just a massive concrete shell towering over Pyongyang completely empty for the next 16 years.  Work began once again on the project in 2008, and it is anticipated that it will finally be completed in 2012.

#7 One of North Korea’s greatest “tourist attractions” is the Pueblo – a U.S. naval vessel that the North Koreans captured from “the imperialist Americans” back in 1968.

#8 According to North Korean media, Kim Jong-il is a phenom at just about everything.  It is claimed that he shot 38 under par (including 11 holes-in-one) the first time he ever played golf.

#9 Christians are slaughtered in some of the most brutal ways imaginable in North Korea.  The following is just one example…..

“While Interviewee 17 was in the North Korean Army, his unit was dispatched to widen the highway between Pyongyang and the nearby port city of Nampo. They were demolishing a vacated house in Yongkang county, Yongkang district town, when in a basement between two bricks they found a Bible and a small notebook that contained 25 names, one identified as pastor, two as chon-do-sa (assistant pastors), two as elders, and 20 other names, apparently parishioners, identified by their occupations. The soldiers turned the Bible and notebook over to the local branch of Department 15 of the Korean Workers Party (KWP), but the Party officials said it was up to the military police unit, Bowisaryungbu gigwanwon, to investigate. Tracked down at their place of work through the listing of occupation in the notebook, the 25 persons were picked up without formal arrest by the military bowibu. The interviewee was not aware of any judicial procedures for those seized. In November 1996, the 25 were brought to the road construction site. Four concentric rectangular rows of spectators were assembled to watch the execution. Interviewee 17 was in the first row. The five leaders to be executed – the pastor, two assistant pastors, and two elders – were bound hand and foot and made to lie down in front of a steamroller. This steamroller was a large construction vehicle imported from Japan with a heavy, huge, and wide steel roller mounted on the front to crush and level the roadway prior to pouring concrete. The other twenty persons were held just to the side. The condemned were accused of being Kiddokyo (Protestant Christian) spies and conspiring to engage in subversive activities. Nevertheless, they were told, “If you abandon religion and serve only Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, you will not be killed.” None of the five said a word. Some of the fellow parishioners assembled to watch the execution cried, screamed out, or fainted when the skulls made a popping sound as they were crushed beneath the steamroller. Interviewee 17 thought, at the time, that these church people were crazy. He thought then that religion was an “opiate,” and it was stupid for them to give up their lives for religion. He heard from the soldiers who took away the other twenty prisoners that they were being sent to a prison camp.”

#10 A few years ago when China was sending humanitarian aid into North Korea the North Koreans decided that they would just start keeping the trains as well.  The Chinese crews were sent back over the border on foot.

#11 A song entitled “No Motherland Without You” was written specifically for Kim Jong-il and is one of the most popular songs in North Korea.  It is regularly sung by the North Korean military.

Are you convinced yet?  The truth is that North Korea is very, very dangerous and they should not be underestimated.  Let us hope that the United States never has to fight another war with them.
